Streets lined with Supercars at Puerto Banus Motor Show
Sunshine, supercars and social distancing was the order for the weekend. We enjoyed a stroll around Puerto Banus from a socially safe distance to get an exclusive first look at more than one hundred exotic cars lining the port at the Puerto Banus Motor Show.
The first edition of the Puerto Banus Motor Show is currently open to the public and runs from 8th to 16th August 2020. There is an impressive range of vehicles on display, from supercars and sports cars to classics and limited editions. We couldn´t resist a visit and we thought we´d share a taste of what´s on offer with you…
A Ferrari in Marbella isn´t necessarily a rare sight, but the collection on display this weekend at the Puerto Banus Motor Show was particularly impressive.
We arrived to a sea of Ferrari red and some of the models we hadn´t seen on the road for years, so it was a real treat.
The Ferraris on display included the latest and greatest high-end models, right through to the pristine classics from days gone by and they all looked fantastic parked up next to the designer shops in the yacht lined port.
Lamborghini in Puerto Banus
Lamborghini also put on a good show this weekend at the Puerto Banus Motor Show, outshining even the super yachts that were docked just beside them.
As we walked around, we spotted a few limited editions, some cared-for classics and several customisations that were causing quite a buzz.
Loud, proud and insatiably fast, the Lamborghinis stole the show for many of the attendants, but whether you are a fan of the raging bull or not, you can´t deny the sound of a Lamborghini engine makes for a showstopping entrance.
Porsche in the Port
Another luxury car brand to grace the port at the Puerto Banus Motor Show was Porsche.
Famed for their stylish, fast and sophisticated sports cars there were plenty of models to drool over.
Although not all the customisations were to our taste, it was impressive to see such a varied collection on display and they all looked fantastic in the glistening sunshine.
Mercedes in Marbella
There was an impressive collection of Mercedes cars at the Puerto Banus Motor Show but the pea green Mercedes GTR AMG parked outside of Dolce and Gabana seemed to attract the most attention.
In truth, there were too many impressive models and manufacturers for us to mention them all, but our highlight of the day was seeing the Koenigsegg Gemera before it got loaded into a truck. Worth an eye-watering 1.7 million euros and one of only 300 made, it was quite a sight to behold.
